A seating plan in seconds

Why teachers change their seating plan
A new plan every half term helps mix pupils, separate disruptive pairings and give everyone a turn near the front. Random plans are quick to make and feel fair, and you can still make small manual changes afterwards.
Private and simple
Everything runs in your browser. The names you type are not sent anywhere, and nothing is kept unless you choose to remember the list on your own device. Use first names or initials only.
Can I change a seat by hand?
Yes. Tap one seat, then another, and they swap places. You can also swap a pupil into an empty seat.
What if I have more pupils than seats?
The plan grows an extra row automatically so everyone has a seat.
Can I save the plan?
Use Copy as text to paste it into a document or slide. For plans that save to each class and show up during lessons, the full planner does this for you.
